Friday morning dawned gloriously with not a cloud in the sky. After a quick read and a lie down on the sunbed it was time for a swim followed by some work as we both hoovered out the swimming pool. Being open air and having moorhens around its important to hoover it and once we were done,it looked wonderfully spick and span. We lunched on sausage sandwiches tea and coffee then returned to the sunbeds and soaked up the rays topping up our wonderfully bronzed all over tans.
There’s little noise right now apart from the odd aircraft, birds squawking and squirrels feeding in the trees above the chalet. it is at the moment the nearest we’ll probably get to real heaven on earth or the biblical myth of the garden of Eden. The joys of naked living cannot be understated when the weather is as pleasant as this, we’ve been here for just over a day and not felt any need to put any clothes on at all, such is the warmth of the air all around.
England are on the brink of an Ashes victory after amassing a 300 run lead and with Australia still 90 runs behind with only 3 wickets left,a unassailable 3-1 lead looks all but in the bag.
