There is nothing quite like walking naked in the hills and countryside even when the weather is overcast. When the sun shines though, its a superb way to get an all over tan, with not another soul around for miles.
There’s nothing quite like a naked walk, whether it be through the woods in the autumn or to the beach in the summer. For many it’s an experience they would never even contemplate even if they lived to be a hundred, for the brave it’s an experience they will never forget. Just experiencing the hot sun or the cooling breeze all over while walking through the British countryside is just so sensual it gives one such a feeling of great well-being.
There are many places you could experience a naked walk without too much hassle and even if you do encounter other people many just say hello and carry straight on by. There is no offence of nudity in English law, even though many think there is, despite this, society still doesn’t always understand why people would go around without clothes.
Even when walking in the most remote areas of England, you will pass buildings, and it is possible that you may bump into someone else, however its not illegal providing you just carry on walking and are not trying to shock anyone. Although we haven’t done any naked walking for a while, around three years actually, I love it on a hot day.
These maps and photos were taken between 2012 and 2013 during walks in and around Essex at Bradwell, Tollesbury, Fordham and near Danbury and we never saw a soul. The rule being go during the daytime, go during school time and have shorts or a t-shirt handy just in case.
The Singles Outdoor Club run a series of mid week walks in the South of England during the summer months. They are a very friendly crowd and you don’t actually have to be single to join.
