Its 3.48pm, the sun is just about to set and with Christmas approaching (it’s actually the 20th – The Winter Solstice) ones finds oneself contemplating the course of one’s life and thinking how we’ve reached another christmas and just how Christmas’s have changed over the course of one’s life which tends in the main to centre on the souls of the departed, the people who are no longer with us.
I have to say for me these are better days, Yeah they’re better days that are shining through I’m mostly happy,in love with the woman of my dreams and have a life and a lifestyle to cherish. It shows me that money can’t make you happy and it just shows me how many people have a warped sense of what is right and also just have selfish alot of humans can be.
As you get older, it takes a big leap of faith to get things going in the right direction, it takes a leap of faith and you’ve really got to show some guts casting off all the chains that hold you back,it takes a leap of faith to get things going,so it’s in your heart you must really trust.
It seems like from the 1990’s generation (onwards), all people really care about is themselves. Outside of immediate family or best friends(and sometime even those too), anyone else is basically a tool or a means to an end. Am I one of the few that believes this or cares about it, even so I feel that if even a tiny amount of effort can make someone’s day and it’s truly worth it.
So many people call themselves “friends” yet they only acknowledge you when they require your help or assistance and when you do put yourself out they don’t even appreciate it.People do seem more selfish, but are they really ?People have always been selfish, but we used to live in smaller, more interconnected communities where being completely selfish was counterproductive. Most people have a hard time understanding the global community we live in today too, because it is harder to relate with.
I try to be nice to all people regardless of what has happened in the past, we need money to live unfortunately society greedy people and capitalism has seen to that but I personally do not worship money and possessions if I worship anything its the the natural living world that we live in and around and which you can see every day if you chose too.We need to radically change the way that we live, and we need to do it fast. The pressures of climate change, population growth, food & energy security, and social inequality are increasing daily. Current actions are simply not keeping up with the scale of the challenges we face. We need bold actions to shift our world onto a more sustainable path.
We’re excited about digital technologies because they are widely understood and heralded as enablers of change. They can help us deliver a sustainable future and help pioneering businesses navigate the changes that are altering the world around us. To create the change we need, and to respond to the changes we see, we need to know how digital technology enables change.
If we are really to live differently, it will not be as a result of moralising; it will happen because we want to, and because we come to reconnect with our environment and the other living things that make life worthwhile. We need to all think and think hard how we respect the planet and respect each other, turn away from having more than the next person and be kind and considerate to all.
” MERRY CHRISTMAS “
