Hopefully in a weeks or so we may be able to pop along to the club and see how the Cabinchaletshed has fared over the fairly mild winter which hasn’t really seen any snow at all. For one reason or another we haven’t visited together since late September although I did pop over in late February to collect some clothes and the bedding. Over the course of the last year work(mainly),family commitments and us moving house have seen our visits kept to a minimum.
The thing I miss most the only thing, is the setting which is deep in the countryside a setting not dissimilar to where we live now. There’s nothing better than arriving on a Friday night getting undressed and not wearing anything apart from a smile until Sunday evening. Even when it’s not sunny it’s still pleasant and as we are not huge drinkers anymore it’s time to think of way of entertaining ourselves other than the legendary trivial pursuit of course.
Only last week I bought an Aldi special of a inverter and a solar battery voltaic panel which I hope will give us sustainable power throughout the weeks months and years just for the princely sum of £52. Maybe we can hook up a TV so we can watch our many DVDs in our huge collection.
This morning with sustainability in mind I renewed our joint membership to the Green Party and I’m hoping we can get back to enjoying life the way we did, just a couple of short years ago. Work must of course be factored in to make it all possible however, even so it important to enjoy life whenever you can.
After cutting the grass yesterday afternoon,I settled down on the sunbed in the garden soaking up some well earned rays. Apart from the flies(there were many) I suddenly noticed how many birds had come into the garden.I quickly popped inside and grabbed the camera to see just how many I could shoot, before the sun disappeared. Sitting quietly and as still as I could suddenly all the birds returned.
The best shots I got were not as easy as one would think, as I spotted a Blackbird over my left should and managed to shoot these before my neck ached,I moved and the birds flew away.
