The weekend has arrived and I’m up early as usual getting in my daily caffeine intake before heading out. I’ve been out into the garden and watered the seedlings in the greenhouse and they’re looking ok, but as this is my first time it more trial and error. Just time for one more coffee then it’ll be time to get dressed and head off to work. We’ve had some interesting sights on the garden recently the sight of a Jackdaw and a Owl being the highlights. This is the first time we’ve seen an Owl (I spotted it this morning) but I suppose it’s not surprising seeing all the lovely countryside around and the food offerings hidden in it. Their diet includes invertebrates (such as insects, spiders, earthworms, snails and crabs), fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and small mammals. The main food largely depends on the species of Owl. For example, Scops and Screech Owls feed on insects mostly, while Barn Owls eat mainly mice, shrews and voles.
All this work has made me long for clothes free days and hopefully next month we may be able to go camping or pop along for weekends at the club. Personally I feel more spiritually and mentally free when I’m naked and also more relaxed too. Many people are often nude in the privacy of their home or garden, either alone or with members of the family. This may be occasional nudity or as a naturist lifestyle.
Many other feel this way as well, the International Naturist Federation opposes all censorship of the natural human body. Nudity is seen as a fundamental expression of naturism. The human body in its natural state is neither indecent nor obscene. As evidenced by over a century of naturist experience and an abundance of scholarly research, mere nudity is not inherently any more sexual than a body concealed by clothing.
The INF are particularly concerned about increasing censorship of nudity in social media. Services such as Facebook have become so ubiquitous that they are effectively public spaces. They urge governments to regulate these services to secure free speech and prevent the suppression of ideas through ethnocentric censorship policies. Being a naturist and being blocked by Facebook seems to be the norm unfortunately we all kinds of decent upstanding folk being block by Facebook’s draconian censorship hacks.
